1. Industrial Commitment to Privacy

Welcome to SongUp AI (www.songupai.com). Operating a massive ecosystem of 28+ professional generative models, DSP systems, and live streaming environments requires a militant approach to data security.

Whether you are generating full songs, isolating studio stems, tuning vocals or blending a mashup, we treat your intellectual property and biometric inputs with uncompromising strictness. This policy details our data ingestion, processing, and purging protocols.

2. Processing of Tool-Specific Data

Due to the fragmented nature of our 28+ tool ecosystem, we categorize data collection based on the processing tier you utilize:

2.1 Generative Text & Audio Prompts (SongUp AI)

When generating output via our flagship text-to-audio engines, we process structural tags, semantic lyrics, and context prompts. These inputs are securely transmitted to our AI clusters. While prompts are recorded for generation, we do not claim ownership over the synthesized output when generated by Pro, Pro Plus, Elite, or Ultra tier subscribers. Free Generation logs may be retained temporarily for safety filter refinement.

2.2 Vocal Signatures & Microphone Data (Vocal Lab)

Tools such as Neural Auto-Tune, Voice to Music and Hum to Song use your microphone or voice recordings.Microphone streams are processed locally via WebAssembly/WebAudio API and are never saved to our servers unless you explicitly execute a “Save/Record” command.

2.3 Pro-Audio Utilities (Stem Separation, AI Mix & Master)

When uploading proprietary tracks to the Stem Separator, AI Mastering, or Audio-to-MIDI engines, the audio payload flows through encrypted TLS channels. Where possible, inference runs locally on your WebGPU. Cloud inference jobs are executed in highly isolated Kubernetes pods. The source tracks and resultant data (stems, MIDI files, mastered WAVs) remain entirely private to your account and are encrypted at rest.

2.4 AI Chat Assistant

Messages you send to the AI Chat Assistant are linked to your account and its credit balance. They are checked only to prevent abuse (such as sexual content involving minors or hate speech) and to keep the platform stable.

2.5 SongUp AI App in ChatGPT, Claude and Other AI Apps

When you use the SongUp AI app inside ChatGPT or the SongUp AI connector inside Claude, we receive only what the assistant sends to the app for your request: the song language, a few words of genre, mood or occasion, a few words about the audio task you want a tool for (Claude), and, if you ask the ChatGPT app for a custom song, the song idea you describe. We use it only to answer that request (pick library songs, suggest a SongUp AI tool, or build a link to the song maker with your idea filled in). We do not receive your ChatGPT or Claude account, name, email or chat history, we do not store these requests or link them to a person, and the app does not use cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep standard request logs (time, IP address, errors) for security. The SongUp AI MCP server for other AI apps and automation tools (such as Cursor, Zapier, Make or n8n) works the same way: it receives only the tool inputs that app sends and stores none of them. 3. Standard Data Collection & Tracking

Account Telemetry: Email addresses, authentication tokens via Firebase, and subscription metadata.
Financial Ledgers: Payment execution is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. SongUp AI does not store underlying payment instruments (credit card numbers, bank details). We only retain credit balances and invoicing metadata. Your billing data is processed and stored by Lemon Squeezy in accordance with its privacy policy.
Machine Telemetry: Diagnostic logs containing IP addresses, user-agent strings, WebAudio context capabilities, latency metrics, and crash dumps to maintain the stability of our Live DJ and audio tool modules.
Cookies & Local Storage: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may also use analytics cookies (e.g., for understanding feature usage). You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

SongUp AI operates a hybrid architecture. While tools like the DJ Console and Web Editor are client-side, intensive generative tasks are routed to best-in-class GPU clusters for professional-quality output.

Payment Processing — Lemon Squeezy

All subscription and credit purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as our Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, the Merchant of Record collects and processes your payment information (card details, billing address, email) to complete the transaction, manage subscriptions, handle invoicing, and collect applicable sales tax/VAT. We share your email address and subscription plan details with it to facilitate billing. For more information, see the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.

Credit Card Data Isolation: SongUp AI staff cannot view, edit, or store your full credit card number or CVV; this data is vaulted exclusively by Lemon Squeezy. We only receive confirmation of successful transactions and subscription status updates.

Zero-Training Promise for Paid Tiers: If you are subscribed to a Pro, Pro Plus, Elite, or Ultra tier, we have executed data agreements ensuring your proprietary audio inputs, uploaded vocals, and raw generation prompts are not compiled into general pre-training sets by our downstream providers.

5. Your Data Rights (GDPR & Global Privacy)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
Right to Data Portability: You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to Object: You may object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes, such as direct marketing.
Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

6. Purging & Data Lifecycle

As an industrial production suite, you control your raw assets. Projects deleted from your Private Folders are hard-deleted from our databases. Transient files—such as temporary stems created during "AI Blend" mixdowns or raw humming recordings uploaded to "Voice to Music"—are cached securely during the generation cycle and then dropped.

7. Requests from Public Authorities

If a court, police force or other public authority asks us for a user's personal data, including data received through Sign in with Google, Facebook or X:

We check that it is lawful. We only respond to a request that is in writing, comes from an authority entitled to make it and has a valid legal basis.
We challenge unlawful requests. If a request is unlawful, too broad or unclear, we ask for it to be narrowed or refuse it, using the legal remedies available to us.
We share the minimum. We disclose only the data the request legally requires, and nothing more.
We keep a record. We record each request, our response, the legal reasoning and who was involved.

Unless the law forbids it, we tell the affected user before we disclose their data.
